Disney's Pinnochio Review
Disney's Pinnochio is a breathtaking animated masterpiece and one of the finest films ever made, animated or otherwise in my opinion. The artwork involved in the animation is beyond beautiful and an example of the highlights are the beautiful, fun, and whimsical array of clocks in Geppeto's workshop. The music is entertaining and varied with slower and tender melodies as well as fun and upbeat ones. The movie is filled with wonder and whimsy, humor, and some scary moments and adventure. There are beloved characters like Jiminy Cricket and Geppeto as well as horrible villains such as Stromboli and the particularly terrifying and evil Coachman. It is generally family friendly and for all ages but as a warning to parents with small children it should be noted there are children smoking and drinking alcohol in scenes. Additionally there is a scene of animals being mistreated by a villain, particularly disturbing as the animals are actually children who have been transformed. I would give Disney's Pinnochio a 10 out of 10.
