National Geographic's the Underdogs Season 1 Episode 1

     The Underdogs is a documentary/comedy narrated by actor Ryan Reynolds and the first episode is called Superzeros.

    The footage shown is a breathtaking and honest view of the animal world focused on the underdog animals that might be overlooked. This episode is about unusual animals with amazing powers.

    Its a very fun and sometimes funny portrayal of animals in nature but its often very gross. Not a big fan of the gross stuff, but its a great documentary. Its both informative and entertaining and Ryan Reynolds narration is witty and charismatic. 

      This is not a documentary for kids, especially younger children. Its full of sexual innuendo and references. It is also very gross in parts with lots of poop.

      Overall this is a great episode and good nature documentary in my opinion. Still, did it really have to have so much poop? I give this episode a 9 out of 10.

Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame review

      Hunchback of Notre Dame is one of the darkest, most emotional and heartfelt films they ever made and its an absolute masterpiece and in my opinion one of their very best.      As one would expect by now its obviously top notch both in the quality of its visuals and even more so in its soundtrack,  which is amazing and rivals Lion King and Beauty and the Beast in its sheer awesomeness.      But beyond that its a bittersweet and emotional drama with great characters. The earnest and kind-hearted Quasimodo is extremely loveable and this makes the audience even more sympathetic to his plight.     Esmerelda is such a bold, confident, and extraordinarily sweet woman and perhaps one of my favorite leading ladies in a Disney film.       Phoebus, the noble captain of the guard, is actually one of the funniest characters on the film with his dry sense of humor.      The gargoyles are funny and cha...

Disney's Oliver and Company review

      Oliver and Company immediately caught my attention with soulful music and gritty detailed backgrounds of late 1980s New York City. And it held my attention throughout with a heartwarming story and characters despite a rather lackluster and bland villain.       Also, this film is hilarious and might be one of the funniest ones I reviewed so far and this is especially do to two particularly amusing characters: Tito the Chihuahua,  and Georgette the Poodle. They are great and if not outright chuckles they got a smile from ne in basically every scene featuring them.      The other characters, especially Oliver, Dodger, Fagin,  and Jennifer are great and memorable and Jennifer and Oliver's relationship as owner and pet is very heartwarming.      Sykes, the villain,  is definitely ruthless and intimidating but for a Disney villain I found him quite dull.
